Multi-Purpose Toolbox

Passive monitor switching with subwoofer toggle: connect three pairs of studio monitors to Outputs A, B, and C, and connect your subwoofer to Output D.
Headphone distribution: connect the headphone Output of your interface to the LS-4’s Input, and connect all LS-4 Outputs to your headphone amps.
Audition effects chains: run a dry signal into the LS-4 Inputs and connect different effects processors to Outputs A-D. Connect your processor Outputs to your audio interface Inputs—press buttons A-D to audition different effects processors on your signal.
Parallel effects routing: connect your hardware as described above—this configuration also allows you to record all four parallel processed signals in your DAW simultaneously.
