King Clonewheel
We get it: you're a tonewheel maven, and you want to control your entire rig from one keyboard. Check out the StudioLogic Numa Organ 2. You get 73 keys (61 plus a reverse-color bottom octave) of Fatar's sublime TP/8O semi-weighted waterfall action, nine drawbars, and a host of controllers inspired by the legendary Hammond B-3. Along with the classic "B" sounds, the Numa Organ 2 also offers models of the rarer A, C, and G series Hammonds, as well a glorious classical pipe organ and a trio of coveted electronic models. A "clonewheel" is judged by the sound of its rotary speaker emulation, and the Numa Organ 2 doesn't disappoint, churning out vintage B with all the trimmings. You get the sonic gravy, too, with spot-on drive, key-click, and leakage. So conjure up the holy grail of organs with the StudioLogic Numa Organ 2.
Stunningly accurate tonewheel, electronic, and pipe organs
StudioLogic's Numa Organ 2's physical modeling synthesis sound engine delivers stunningly accurate digital reproductions of the most coveted tonewheel, electronic, and pipe organs organs, while adding full flexibility of custom drawbar mixing, editing, and control. Using the reverse octave you can select one of the seven different sound models comprising Tonewheel, Electric, and Classic Diapason organs. The Numa Organ 2's extended control panel lets you use more than 30 physical controls to sculpt your sound to taste and tweak the parameters to reproduce all the authentic electromechanical noises.
MIDI control and more
Your Numa Organ 2 connects to your computer via USB, so you can also use it as a MIDI keyboard to play and control your virtual instruments and digital audio workstation. It also features conventional 5-pin DIN MIDI In, Out, Thru ports for connection to MIDI-equipped legacy hardware. You can also hook up a real rotary speaker using the 11-pin port. All things considered, the Numa Organ 2 is a lot of clonewheel for the money. Its predecessor was quite popular at Sweetwater, and StudioLogic has left no stone unturned in updating it with state-of-the-art upgrades.
If you're in the market for a virtual tonewheel organ, portability is probably an issue for you. Well, the good news is that the StudioLogic Numa Organ 2 is supremely gigable. It weighs in at only 24.3 pounds, and it's just 41.5" wide; so pop it in the back seat and you're off to the gig.
