Ideal for live sound, recording, broadcast, and houses of worship, the Ferrofish PULSE16 DX AD/DA audio converter offers a high-quality solution for connecting and routing a wide range of analog, MADI, ADAT, and Dante equipment—at up to 192 kHz. The high-density converter provides 16x16 balanced analog 1/4" TRS I/Os and can handle pro studio levels up to +20 dBu. Optional +24 dBu I/Os and/or CV outputs are available. Combined with a temperature-compensated, high-precision clock and an active jitter-reduction hardware design, the 354-channel PULSE16 DX delivers an exceptional detailed sound.
The PULSE16 DX delivers all the industry-leading features of Dante including 64-channel bidirectional transmission and port redundancy. The high-density converter can integrate isolated islands of Analog, MADI, or ADAT equipment to a Dante network or the other way around, great for connecting a group of network devices and analog devices to a MADI mixing console. Thanks to the internal routing matrix with it's sub-mix capability, Dante streams can be freely merged from channels of all formats—even from Dante inputs.
The integrated headphone output enables you to monitor any signal in the Dante network by simply routing it to the device and the phones out. Two TFT screens show all analog input and output levels. The intuitive one-knob-operation makes using the PULSE16 DX a breeze.
