The WA12 500 Series Microphone Preamplifier Microphone Preamplifier from Warm Audio is a single-channel 500 series microphone preamplifier based on the API 312 design. It is capable of up to 71dB of gain, and is designed to provide a warm and colored signal path for your input sources. The preamp has a switchable input impedance, labeled Tone on the front-panel. The impedance switches from 600 to 150 ohms, resulting in a warmer tone from both the mic and Hi-Z inputs.
